23. Best thing about the fans? There’s a lot of things that they do. They are so supportive. They voted for me to get to this point. There the ones who request the songs, and buy the albums, and go to the events. They are the ones who support you and let you live your dream. They’ve been really respectful and have been great fans.

21. Guitar? I have practiced a little bit. That’s just something else I feel a little self conscious about. Better at piano or guitar? Piano.
20. Spanish album? That is still one of my goals and something I really want to do. I guess you just have to wait for the right time. Have to fit it into your schedule. Right now, I’m working on this next pop album, but I’d like a Spanish album to come out soon. My album I’m finishing up comes out October 5th.
19. Why isn’t your book available worldwide yet? I don’t know. I guess it’s just the cost and getting it out there. I did try to get it some places. But it’s pretty complicated. Even in the US, it’s pretty complicated.
18 Wished Lindsey a happy 17th birthday. Doesn’t remember what he did for his last birthday. Favorite birthday memory? I was in Georgia for a family reunion, and I got to spend my birthday with my family. I was 16 or 17. It was during Idol, and no one knew about Idol yet.
17. When will you be visiting Indonesia? I really hope soon. I really want to. I went to Singapore and Malaysia one time, and I went to the Philippines another time. It was so great. The fans there are incredible. I was not expecting that. It was really neat. I really hope I can go there. I know some of the pre-order packages from the album are available there now.
16. Will you ride any rides today? Yeah, I plan on it. I love roller coasters.
15. If you could tour with anyone, who would it be? I’m not sure. I’d be too intimidated to mention some of the people I’d want to tour with. He mentioned Billy Joel. (Yeah, bb!)

13. Piano seems to be getting stronger, practicing more? I don’t think I’m practicing as much as I should be. I should be practicing more. I think I need to practice a lot more. Actually, that’s a conversation I had this morning about focusing on practicing. And learning new songs from album.
12. Favorite song on new album? One I just introduced called “Elevator” and another which is the title track, “Other Side of Down.”
11. Favorite song performed? I love Christmas music. That’s always good. I like to do Robbie Williams’ “Angels.” I never get tired of that song. It’s a good, heartfelt song.
10. Do you like monster trucks? I was into it when I was little. I always wanted to go to a show, but my family wasn’t into it. That’s a really interesing, random question.
9. Can you walk down the street without getting attack? Everyone can walk down the street. (LOL.) They usually just say hi.
8. Did you think you’d be as famous as you are? No, not really. A show like American Idol, you don’t realize that many people watch it. It’s crazy.
7. First song you wrote? Song called “Falling.” I was 15. They heard it, at least some of my fans.
6. How do song ideas come to you? It just comes to you, something that’s on your mind. Every single song is written differently.
5. How do you see yourself spending days off? If I had a day off on the road, I’d walk around looking at different places. Being touristy. Like looking for ma and pa type restaurants.
